download the firmware .bin file for your specific camera. Transfer the file onto an external USB drive (flash drive, thumb drive)

Plug the USB drive with the file you just downloaded into an open USB port on your NVR. ( there is usually one on the front and two on the back of the NVR)

you will then get a screen that pops up asking you what you want to do. Close this screen by right-clicking anywhere on the screen.

Next, you need to turn off recording for the cameras that you want to upgrade. (IMPORTANT: Remeber to turn this back on once you have finished upgrading your cameras)

You will do this by going to the main menu then selecting storage from the bottom of the screen

Then from the menu on the left select record. You will then see the screen below. Click the button that says off under the mainstream as pictured below.

Once you have turned record off on the cameras you will then right-click to return to the main menu
then from the menu click on camera at the bottom of the screen
You will then see a screen with a menu on the left. From the menu on the left click on registration if you are not already there.
You will see that there are 4 tabs are the top of the screen click on the tab that says upgrade.
Checkmark the cameras that you would like to upgrade then click the button at the bottom of the screen that says file upgrade.
you will get a window that pops up showing the files that are on the USB drive that you plugged into the NVR. Select the .bin file that you downloaded previously so that it shows up in the file name section at the bottom. Then click OK.
Your cameras will begin upgrading. This may take some time. Do not leave this window until the cameras have upgraded. Once they have upgraded the cameras themselves will reboot. It may take a few minutes for them to reappear once they have rebooted. REMEMBER TO TURN YOUR RECORDING BACK ON AS MENTIONED AT THE BEGINNING
