    Are you planning on updating the Montavue mobile app to be compatible with Android 9.0 Pie? I have a Pixel 2 XL which automatically gets the latest versions of Android and have had this since the beginning of August. The app warns it is not compatible but somewhat works. It times out after a couple minutes on live preview and the alarm notifications will not save for line crossing. I’m sure there are more things but those are mostly the only things I use. I’ve tried deleting the data from the app, reinstalling and no luck.

      we have now updated the app and it should now work with andriod 9.0 pie. Please let us know if you are still having problems.

    When setting up multiple apps (multiple iPhones), do I just download the app on the second device, then log in with the same info as the first device, or do you have to set up a whole different profile on the second device? Thanks

      Hi Eric, You are correct. You will just download the app onto the second device. Then add the device using the p2p method. Then enter the username and password that you use to log into the NVR. Or you can make sperate users if you want or need to. But you do not have to do this. I hope that helps answer your question. Please let me know if you have any other questions.

    Customer support is terrible. I am trying to return my system because no one gets back to you on issues with the system. I have fallowed the tutorials for setting up push notification which is the main reason I purchased the system and it does not work.

    Is there a way to cancel someone’s access of mobile phone viewing? I want to make sure I am not being monitored by the person that installed system.

      Hi Joy,
      You will simply change your password. You can do this by going to the main menu then you will click on system from the bottom settings row. Then from the menu on the right select account. You will see a list of users click on the pencil icon under modify for the user you wish to change the password for. click the check mark box for modify password. Enter the old password (current) then enter a new password then click save. Once you do this you will need to update the password on all of your devices that you have MontavueGo installed on. To do this in MontavueGO tap the menu icon in the upper left hand corner that looks like three lines. Then tap device manager. you will see a list of all the devices you have added. Tap on the name of the device you wish to modify. You will get a row of icons. Tap the icon on the left that looks like a pen or pencil. Delete the password and enter the new one.
