I can’t download your software on my PC. Is your site having problems?

      Hi Dennis,

Are you receiving a specific error message? There should not be any problems with the site. We Use google drive for downloading. You may see a message that says no preview available. Just click the blue download button when you see this. If you continue to have problems let me know and I can attempt to email you the file directly.

It wants to know which app to use…I just click on download and it sends me to the google drive which then gives me that message.

Hello, I’m using the Mac version of MontavueGO and I’ve started receiving warning messages from Apple that this MontavueGO is a 32-bit app and only 64-bit apps will be supported after macOS Mojave. I realize there’s no issue with the app right now with Mojave but was curious to know whether you’ll be going 64-bit in 2019?

I have contacted our software developer regarding this. I will let you know what I find out.

Thank you Gary. I’m another Mac user that just had a Montavue system installed and am unable to use the MontavueGO on my Macbook Pro, running High Sierra. Please let me know when it’s available.

Gary – just checking in again (6 months from my original inquiry) – Apple has confirmed that the upcoming version of macOS this fall (Catalina) will not run any 32-bit apps. MontavueGO is still 32-bit, so I’m concerned my current investment in Montavue security equipment is going to constrain my ability to stay current with Apple OS’s. Do you have any definitive information that gives your customers some peace of mind about this software?

I use a iMac Pro OSX 10.14.6 Mojave. MontavueGO that I’m using is 32-bit. This October 2019 the new OSX 10.15 Catalina will be 64-bit. Will MontavueGO have an updated MontavueGO 64-bit so that mac users can continue to use MontavueGO.

We are working on a 64-bit program but we do not currently have one. Unfortunately, I do not have any information on when this will be released but we will have it eventually.

We have one camera that will not show on our desktop app, but is showing in the server room where the NVR is located. Can you give me some suggestions?

    Thank You

Hi David, I am assuming you have a monitor connected directly to the NVR and that the camera is appearing there and not in MontavueGO for PC/MAc.
Sometimes deleting the device from MontavuGO and then adding it back in can fix this type of issue. To do this you will select devices from the main menu. Then click the trash can next to that device. Then click the add button and change the method to add to SN for device support p2p. Enter the username and password for the NVR. You will need the text password, not the unlock pattern.
